Step 1: The Application Download the application below for nursery and pre-school, and review the checklist of all items and documentation needed to begin the admissions process.
Step 2: The Family Interview Once the completed application and all documentation have been submitted, at least one parent must attend with the child, to be conducted at the home of the child or at the school. The application, along with the interview notes, will then be submitted to the Admissions Committee for review. The school will then notify you that your child has been accepted.
Step 3: Enrollment Once accepted, you will receive several documents, which include permission slips, tuition and code of conduct agreements, and how to set up payment for fees and tuition. We will also need the child have a general physical exam and submit those results before he/she officially enrolls.
Step 4: SSCA Family Brunch This is the opportunity for the children to become familiar with the SSCA teaching staff before the first day. This will typically be on the Saturday before the first day and feature a breakfast and some games. It is not mandatory that you attend the brunch, however if your child experiences separation anxiety it would greatly improve their transition to SSCA.
Final Step From the time of enrollment and throughout the school year you will be contacted by the school regarding important dates and events.
